5 ways to make friends on BeSocialz (and actually meet them offline)
BeSocialz isn't one feature. It's five different doors into a real social life. Pick the one that feels easiest, and walk through it this week.

- There are five ways to make friends on BeSocialz: post in the Feed, join events, book a hangout table, join or create a club, and host your own plan.
- The Feed is the quickest: post 'Anyone near my area free this weekend?', chat with whoever replies, and meet.
- Clubs are the best for lasting friends, because you keep meeting the same people.
- Every way ends the same: you close the app and meet people in real life.
Most apps give you one way to meet people. Swipe. Or RSVP. Or wait to be matched.
BeSocialz gives you five. Some people are bold and post in the Feed on day one. Some prefer to sit at a small table first. Some just want to find their club. All of them work. Here's how each one works, in simple steps.
1. Post in the Feed: "Anyone near my area?"
This is the quickest way to make friends on BeSocialz.
- Post something simple in the Feed, like: "Anyone near Kondapur free for chai this evening?" or "New to Hyderabad. Anyone up for a weekend walk?"
- People nearby see it and reply in the comments.
- Add each other as friends and chat.
- Meet up at a public place and say hi.
You'd be surprised how many people are waiting for someone else to ask first. Be the one who asks.
Tip: Mention your area and a simple plan. "Chai near Gachibowli at 6" gets more replies than "Anyone want to be friends?"
2. Join events near you
Events are plans that someone has already hosted. You just pick one and go.
- Food, startups, movies and more, in your city.
- Some are free, some have tickets. You'll see which before you join.
- Go alone if you want to. Most people do the first time.
At the event, talk to one or two people, then add them as friends on BeSocialz. Next time, you're not walking in as a stranger.
3. Book a seat at a hangout table
A hangout is a small group table set up by a host, like a dinner for five or coffee for four. Strangers at 8. Friends by dessert.
- Open Hangouts and filter by today, this week or the weekend.
- Pick your table. You see the host, the area, the table size, the language and who it's for.
- Book your seat in the app.
- Chat with your table in the group chat, then meet.
Small tables are the easiest way in if you're shy, because everyone gets to talk and nobody gets lost. Read dinner with strangers in Hyderabad.
4. Join your favourite club, or create one
Clubs are where real friendships grow, because you keep seeing the same people.
- Join a club around something you love: movies, running, cycling, food, startups, books or walks.
- Can't find one? Create your own club and invite people who like the same things.
- Use the club to make quick plans. In a club with lots of members, just ask: "Anyone free for a movie tonight?" or "Who's up for a social walk on Sunday morning?" or "Cycling at 6 am tomorrow, who's in?" Whoever's free joins, and you go together.
That's the magic of clubs. You don't need a big plan. You just need one message and a few people who say "I'm in".
5. Host your own hangout or event
Once you're comfortable, become the person who brings people together.
- Host a hangout: set the place, time, seats, price, language and who it's for.
- Host an event for a bigger group, free or with tickets.
- Earn from every seat that's booked. Payments go through Razorpay.
The host always knows everyone at the table, so hosting is one of the fastest ways to build your own circle. Read how to host your first hangout.
Which way should you start with?
| If you are... | Start with |
|---|---|
| Bold and want to meet people today | Post in the Feed |
| Shy or new to the city | Book a seat at a small hangout table |
| Into a hobby or sport | Join a club |
| Curious and want to see what's on | Join an event |
| Someone who loves bringing people together | Host your own |
How to socialize once you're there
- Arrive on time and say hi to people one by one.
- Learn one name and use it.
- Ask easy questions: "What brought you here?" or "How long have you been in the city?"
- Put your phone away. You used it to find people. Now meet them.
