How BeSocialz Works
BeSocialz helps you:
- Discover people, hangouts, meetups and clubs in your city
- Book a seat at a hangout: a small table of people set up by a host
- Host your own hangouts, meetups and clubs
- RSVP to meetups and chat with other members in the app
- Meet people offline in real life
BeSocialz is a facilitator. You are responsible for what happens when you meet other users in person.
Meeting Other Users — Important Safety Notice
BeSocialz connects you with strangers for offline meetups. We do not perform background checks, identity verification, or criminal screening on users. You meet other users at your own risk.
Before meeting anyone in person:
- Verify event details and read other attendees' reviews where available
- Meet in public, well-populated venues, especially the first time
- Tell a friend or family member where you're going and when
- Don't share home address, financial info, or sensitive details early on
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave
- Don't consume excessive alcohol or substances at meetups
See our Community Guidelines for detailed safety tips.
Emergencies
In any emergency, at or on the way to a meetup, call 112 first. BeSocialz is not an emergency service. Our team is not present at meetups and cannot respond to emergencies. Once you are safe, report what happened to the police and to us in the app or at support@besocialz.com. For the full steps, see our Safety & Risk page.
You assume all risks of meeting other users offline. BeSocialz, its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any harm, loss, theft, injury, or other damages that may occur during in-person meetups arranged through BeSocialz. This includes risks related to safety, health, property, or any other consequence of meeting strangers.
Discovery, Suggestions & No Matchmaking
BeSocialz helps you discover hangouts, clubs, events, and other users, and may order, rank, filter, or label them (for example as "suggested," "recommended," "popular," or "near you") using interests, location, category, activity, or automated methods. These features are convenience tools to aid discovery only. They do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, introduction, vetting, or representation by BeSocialz regarding any user, organizer, club, event, or their identity, character, safety, professional competence, qualifications, or suitability for any purpose.
BeSocialz does not provide matchmaking and does not pair, match, or introduce users for personal, social, romantic, or professional compatibility. Any connection you form and any decision you make — including any personal, financial, business, or professional decision arising from a connection made through the app — is made at your sole discretion and risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeSocialz is not responsible or liable for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any suggestion, discovery feature, or automated output, or for the results of any meeting, relationship, collaboration, transaction, or decision between users.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, abuse, or harm any other user
- Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or content promoting violence
- Share sexual, pornographic, or inappropriate content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Solicit, sell, or promote products/services without authorization
- Send unsolicited messages (spam)
- Use BeSocialz for illegal activities
- Attempt to access other accounts or our systems without permission
- Scrape, copy, or extract data from BeSocialz
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent ban, and/or reporting to law enforcement.
Reporting & Friend Lists
You can report any member, profile, post, message, hangout or meetup in the app. You can also remove a member from your friends list. Removing someone from your friends list does not stop them from seeing your profile or booking your hangouts, so use reporting if someone is harming you.
Misconduct & Legal Action
BeSocialz is for real, respectful, in-person meetups. We take misconduct seriously, both in the app and at hangouts and meetups.
Misconduct includes harassment, threats, stalking, abuse, assault, unwanted physical contact, sexual misconduct, theft, fraud, cheating hosts or guests out of money, damaging a venue, and any other behaviour that breaks the law or puts people at risk.
If you engage in misconduct:
- We may remove you from a hangout or meetup, remove your content, and suspend or permanently ban your account, without a refund
- We may report the matter to the police and other authorities, and share relevant information with them as allowed by law
- You may face criminal prosecution and civil action under applicable Indian law, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000
- You are personally responsible for any loss or damage you cause, and you will not be able to rejoin BeSocialz with a new account
If something happens to you, report it in the app or email support@besocialz.com. In an emergency, call 112 first.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you post (profile, photos, posts, comments, etc.). However, by posting on BeSocialz, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within BeSocialz for the purpose of operating and promoting BeSocialz.
You confirm that:
- You own or have permission for everything you post
- Your content doesn't infringe others' rights (copyright, privacy, etc.)
- Your content doesn't violate these Terms or any law
We may remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without notice.
Hangouts, Meetups & Clubs
Hangouts (host-led tables)
A hangout is a small table, usually for a meal or a coffee, led by one host. The host sets the place, the date and time, the number of seats (the host counts as one seat), the price, the language and who the table is for. Seats and price are shown before you book.
- Welcome: the host greets new guests when they arrive, introduces the table and keeps the conversation respectful
- Who's free: if you choose to show that you are free for a plan, only the availability you set is shown to others. You can turn it off at any time
- Seats: a booking is confirmed only after payment is successful in the app. Seats are held for guests who have paid, and the host may not add guests outside the app
- Dietary and health needs: guests should tell the host about allergies or dietary needs before the meal. BeSocialz does not check food or venues, and the venue is responsible for food safety
Hosts
If you create a hangout, meetup or club, you are the host. You decide the place, the time, the number of seats, the language and who it's for, and you are responsible for what happens at it: venue safety, conduct at the table, and any commitments you make to guests. Hosts may earn money from seats and tickets booked on their hangouts and meetups.
Hosts are independent. A host is not an employee, agent, partner or representative of BeSocialz. BeSocialz does not supervise, direct or control how a host runs a hangout, and does not pay hosts wages or provide employment benefits. Hosts are responsible for their own conduct, their venue, and their own tax and legal obligations on any income they earn.
Hosts must also:
- Have a verified account (live selfie check) before creating a paid hangout
- Choose a public, well-known venue, and keep the plan within the details shown in the app
- Tell a trusted person about the plan, and act on any safety concern
- Remove any guest who behaves badly, and report the matter in the app
- Never invite guests to a private home or any place not shown in the plan
Guests
If you book a seat or RSVP, you attend at your own risk. Show up on time, respect the host and other guests, and follow venue rules and our House Rules.
Payments
Seat prices and ticket prices are set by the host and shown before you book. All payments for hangouts, meetups and tickets must be made through the BeSocialz app. Payments are processed by Razorpay. BeSocialz does not store your card or bank details.
Hosts can see their bookings and earnings in the host dashboard. Razorpay settles host earnings to the host's bank account or UPI ID.
Hosts are responsible for their own taxes on income from hangouts. Where the law requires it, BeSocialz may deduct tax at source, collect GST on its fees, and ask hosts for PAN and bank details before paying out earnings.
Hosts and guests must not ask for, offer or accept payment outside the app, including by cash, UPI or bank transfer, for a seat booked through BeSocialz. Your ticket appears in your BeSocialz account once booking is confirmed. Hosts receive earnings from seats booked through the app, as shown in the host dashboard.
Cancellations and refunds
If a host cancels, guests get a full refund. If you can't make it, seats are not refundable, but you can send a friend in your place with the host's approval. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Repeated no-shows, or hosts who cancel often, may face limits on their account.
Verified Badges & Paid Services
Every new account completes a live selfie check at sign-up, which confirms that a real person is using the account. BeSocialz also offers optional paid features such as account verification (Blue Tick, Gold Tick). Pricing is shown at the point of purchase. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
For the avoidance of doubt: the live selfie check is not a background check, criminal-record check, or document-based identity check. a verified badge, where offered, confirms only that a user completed an optional profile-confirmation step (such as confirming an email, phone number, or a photo match to a profile picture). It is not a background check, criminal-record check, identity-document verification, professional-credential check, employment or qualification check, or any assurance of a user's character, conduct, safety, honesty, or professional competence. BeSocialz does not represent its environment as "verified," "screened," or "vetted," and any member — with or without a badge — must be evaluated by you independently. BeSocialz disclaims all liability arising from reliance on any badge or verification status.
Intellectual Property
The BeSocialz name, logo, app design, branding, and all BeSocialz content (except user-generated content) are the intellectual property of Nextgen BeSocialz Network (OPC) Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, or use our IP without written permission.

You may delete your account at any time via the app or by emailing us. Some data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BeSocialz, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of BeSocialz, your content, your conduct toward other users, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
